United Kingdom . Has directed and produced documentary films throughout the world for the past fifteen years. Deals with current events, society and science. Has directed films for the BBC and Channel 4 – for which he has recently directed a film about French President Jacques Chirac.

Erez Laufer

Israel . Director, photographer and editor of documentary films in Israel and throughout the world. Among his most recent films are “Don’t Cry for me Edinburgh”, “Startup.com”, “Laisse moi t’aimer” and most recently – “Flags War”.

Ferenc Moldovanyi

Hungary . Independent documentary film director and producer, graduate of the Budapest Film Academy , lecturer on cinema at the Budapest University . His acclaimed film “Children – Kosovo 2000” was screened at the Docaviv Festival of 2002.

First Prize - No. 17 is Anonymous, director David Ofek.

Second Prize - Life for Land, director Tamar Wishnitzer-Haviv.

Third Prize - Paradise Lost, director Ebtisam Mara'ana

Cinematography Award - Nili Aslan for Paradise Lost and A City With No Pity.

France . Since 2001, has been an associate producer with the highly successful French company, Les Films d'Ici. Previously, produced for her own company, Gaïa Films, award-winning shorts and feature documentaries.

Isabel Hardy

Canada . Has worked in the television industry for 15 years, in production, distribution and acquisition. Since 2001 Isabel Hardy is the chief and commissioning editor at Radio Canada in Montreal . She acquires over 300 hours of programming annually and commissions about 25 hours per year with Canadian independent producers and international co producers. She is a member of the International Advisory Council of the Canadian International Documentary Festival.

Nathalie Windhorst

Netherlands . Producer of documentary films for television, program buyer for VPRO – one of the Netherlands ’ Public Broadcasters, that is highly involved in the documentary field. Has published a research paper on the representation of the Holocaust in Hollywood feature films.

Nissim Calderon

Israel . Has a Doctorate in Literature from the Tel Aviv University . Calderon has written five books on the political aspects of Hebrew literature, has taught cinema and literature at Tel Aviv University . Today he is a lecturer in the department of Hebrew literature at Ben Gurion University .

Diane Weyermann

U.S.A. Has wide expertise in the field of films, is a producer and actively involved in human rights. She is the director of the Sundance Institute Documentary Film program. Previously, she developed and directed the Soros Documentary Fund. She was heavily involved with emerging filmmakers in Central and Eastern Europe in the 1990s. She has produced and directed independent documentaries.

Ruth Lev Ari

Israel . A veteran writer/producer, part of the Israeli film and television industry for many years. A member of the Forum of Israeli Documentary Filmmakers and the Israel Film and Television Production Association.

Noemi SchoryIsrael

An Israeli independent producer and director. Has produced and directed more than 50 documentaries, television dramas and factual programs for Israel as well as international co-productions. Member of the international board of “Input", dedicated to promoting excellence and innovation in television. Was deputy director of television at the Channel Two, the Israeli-commercial channel.
