Body of War
USA, 2007, 87 Min, English, Hebrew Subtitles

Thomas Young, all blue eyes, red hair and boyish features, is the human representation of the awful war, imposed on his country by the Bush administration. Confined to a wheelchair, his every movement excruciatingly painful, he needs assistance to get through his most basic daily routine.
A naive, Kansas born patriot who enlisted only two days after 9/11, he was determined to capture Bin Laden hiding in the mountains of Afghanistan, instead Thomas was sent to Iraq where he was shot and paralyzed.
He draws strength from his anti-war activities; pleading with his audience to act against a government that continues to send troops to a war that he took part in, only to be killed there.
Thomas verses the mighty, victory seeking, military power. Thomas verses Bush. This suffering young man, never to fulfill his youth is now fighting another battle – for truth.
