Yishai Orian, The film director, is married to Eliraz, and is in love with his old VW beetle. Eliraz is about to give birth to their first child any day now. She is anxious to get rid of the jalopy which she feels is unsuitable for a baby.

As the argument about the car heats up, Yishai embarks on a journey that starts with the previous owners of the beetle, and ends with an attempt to save his old love.
