Serge Lalou has been for the past 19 years a director and producer in the production company Les Films d''Ici. Through its productions the company, seeks to present the private, independent point of view of its directors, each with his own esthetic approach and unique narrative. The companys activities contribute to the redefinition of the relationship between the documentary and feature film, promoting the screenings of full length documentary films in cinemas, freeing them from the monopoly of television.
