MASTER CLASS WITH LARRY WEINSTEIN
In recent years, Larry Weinstein has become one of the leading
directors of films on musical subject. His work does not deal strictly
with music, although most of his works focus on 20th Century
composers or musicians, such as Ravel, Kurt Weill, Shostakovich. Music is the gateway through which he
hopes to commemorate a vanishing world, an eroding culture and
forgotten stories.
Dan Geva will discuss with Larry Weinstein about his
attempts to combine between the personal biographies
of the composers presented in his films and their music.
