A witty and pungent political film focusing on the Newark
elections for Mayor in 2002, through following the two main
candidates in those elections. They are both black and members of the Democratic Party however from this point on they differ in every other aspect. Booker is a 32 years old Yale graduate lawyer; 66 years old Sharp James is climbing the political ladder from young age, and is the town Mayor for the past 16 years. Booker rationalizes and explains whereas, James lies and slanders to manipulate his supporters feelings. As the election campaign develoops Booker realizes the Police is supporting James and harasses anyone who assists him in any way including
this film crew. It is a fast moving Political-Documentary Thriller providing an ironic picture and shatters the audiences illusions regarding the "American Democracy".
